I ordered this to wear as a layer while outside, not as an athletic shirt. It is very soft on the inside and very comfortable to wear. It was warm without making me all sweaty. I have a size Large (generally a size 14 shirt to accommodate, well, the shape) and the sleeves were plenty long enough but not made for a 7 foot giant, which was nice. This brand has been pretty good for quality and fit; I have a bunch of their clothes and have been happy with them all. They regularly go in the washer and the dryer and are still holding up well after a few years.

Perfect for base layer

I just purchased two sets of these thermals, shirt and pants, for a trip to Iceland, and they are fabulous! Not at all scratchy and kept me just the right amount of warm. I wore them every day, alternating the two sets. This may be too much info, but we struggled to find a place to do our own laundry but they truly did not get smelly at all. I highly recommend!!!

Great fit and material.

I am ready for cold weather now. The shirts are elastic but fleece lining inside. Not tight around your shoulder and neck. Comfortable

My wife really likes it

I bought one of these to try and got hooked on the quality of these shirts! The fit is wonderful and true to size and do not shrink after washing and drying in conventional machines. I love the muted colors and have one in each color. These are my go-to long sleeve crew necks.I am very sensitive to itchy material and these do not itch at all. I had to re-read the label because I thought they were some blend. These are 100% Merino wool with a natural nice stretch and hold their shape well. I also travel a bit and these pack well with no wrinkles.Honestly, I only keep other shirts I have to do yard work or paint. These shirts are my everyday wear to wear to work or relax...either way, they are perfect!

Helps to keep me warm

I have used these for myself and wanted to get some layers for my daughter who rides horses. It gets cold in her barn during winter riding and these work great along with other layers.

Size up and enjoy

Bought the heavyweight (300) set for a friend who has terminal kidney disease- he was always talking about how cold he was. He started dialysis and apparently that makes you even colder. He put them on and says they keep him nice and warm even on dialysis days. He wears them every day now so I just bought him 2 more pair. I definitely recommend this product!
